How do I access my email using desktop software such as Microsoft Outlook?

If I've set up an email account on your domain, you may want to access it from your PC using an email client. The following shows you the steps required to achieve that with Microsoft Outlook. Other software, such as Mozilla Thunderbird, can be set up in roughly the same way.

In Microsoft Outlook, go Tools -> E-mail Accounts. Choose to add a new email account.

Add a new account

Select POP3 as the server type.

Choose to connect to a POP3 server

Finally, populate the form with the access details I have given you. You should replace any mentions of example.com with your own domain.

Populate the form with your access details

You should now be able to send and receive emails with Microsoft Outlook.
