About
This streaming video player been designed to emulate Apple's Quicktime Player in appearance and functionality. It has a simple set of controls to play, pause and rewind.
Technical Details
Variables are passed into the player from the HTML source, and allow a video URL and caption to be specified, as well as whether the video should play automatically when the page loads.
Once loading has begun, an adaptive preloader is used to judge when to start playing, ensuring that just enough data is buffered to allow continuous playback of the rest of the video.
Currently, only video files encoded in SWF format are supported.
